Huge congratulations to Team Full Circle's Grant Gibson, Alan Brunsden, Dr Fenella Willis, David Willis, Laura O'Regan, Dr Will Maier, Vero Bringlow, Chloe Hall and Laura Impiazzi for taking on the Mayflyer Sportive on Sunday 8 May. Extra special congratulations go to former leukaemia patients, Grant and Alan who both took on the herculean challenge and completed the gruelling 140km route. Zoë Brooks tackles the mighty 208km Etape du Tour 2011 for Full Circle Fund "It's a real leg-breaker," says Tour de France race director Jean-Francois Pescheux, of the Etape du Tour 2011. A cyclo-sportive with a distance of 208km, the Etape is the longest mountain stage of this year's Tour de France. It's also one of the toughest. Joining 1,100 other cyclists they set off from Crystal Palace at 11pm to complete the incredible 100km challenge across London with only the moonlight, night buses and night-owls for company.  July is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and to raise awareness of the work of Full Circle and patients with Sickle Cell Disease we are very pleased to team up with Merton Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Group (www.msctg.org) and Wandsworth?s Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Support Group. We will all be in the Main Foyer of St George?s Hospital on 4th July and all profits from our jewellery sales on the day and throughout July will go to fund a new Full Circle initiative to teach our relaxation and meditation techniques to children and adults with Sickle Cell Disease at St George?s Hospital.
