Don’t miss out on this year’s South Western Road Club (SWRC) Mayflyer, a gorgeous sportive through the beautiful country lanes and pretty villages of the Surrey and Sussex countryside. Not only will you be enjoying a beautiful day’s ride, but you’ll be supporting the work of Full Circle Fund Therapies and Surrey Air Ambulance.
There are well stocked feed stations on the route and the renowned Full Circle feed station includes home-made cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks to set riders up for the final third of the route. There is a choice of two routes. Both routes are challenging and take in some notorious local climbs including Staple Lane, Pitch Hill and Combe Bottom.
The 21st SWRC Mayflyer Cyclosportive takes place on Sunday 19th May 2019. Entry is £25 and there is a choice of two routes:
The Flyer Challenge (153km/95miles) crosses the North Downs on the way to Amberley in Sussex before returning by a different route of mainly country lanes to the HQ in Oxshott, Surrey.
The Flyer (90km/56 miles) meanders around the North Downs. Both routes are fully marked and challenging, including a number of climbs.
