Annie O’Dell


Annie O’Dell started working at St George’s in the oncology department in 1999, and joined the Full Circle Therapy Team in 2006.  She treats patients on the cancer unit the Trevor Howell ward once a week and her prime interest and work is to enable patients to embrace relaxation while they are undergoing difficult treatments and coping with the associated anxieties of a cancer diagnosis.

Annie trained in Holistic Massage therapy and Aromatherapy at the Clare Maxwell-Hudson School in 1992 and then Reflexology at the Practitioners School of Reflexology in 1998.  She is a qualified tutor in adult learning and has taught numerous courses in massage and reflexology. Additionally, Annie has been Lead Complementary Therapist at Cancer Care London, Parkside Hospital since 2003. 

Annie says: “This quote lives in my head whenever I’m working with people: ‘The worst aspect of having cancer is the loss of control; your treatments help me feel I have regained control.’”
