Gabby Bignell

Gabby joined Full Circle in 2013, she is lead co-ordinator and massage therapist for haematology, oncology and paediatrics at St George’s Hospital.

She also developed an interest in rehabilitative work in the clinical hospital environment. Gabby qualified as a sports & remedial massage therapist in 2010 from the London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Level 5 diploma, and as a Certified Infant Massage Instructor from the International Association of Infant Massage in 2014.

Gabby aims to help her patients reduce muscular tension, and increase relaxation and general wellbeing through a combination of different massage strokes and techniques. Her treatments are adapted to meet the individual’s needs.  Gabby is also happy to guide her patients through any aspect of their massage treatment to help them understand and gain a better understanding of their body.

Outside of Full Circle, Gabby enjoys offering her skills in running baby massage classes, and as a massage therapist and co-ordinator at the London Marathon and other sporting events. She enjoys freediving, cycling, playing the flute and fine art illustration, and these interests feed in to her private practice where she sees a wide variety of people from many different backgrounds. She also has a private massage clinic in south London.

Gabby says: “It is a privilege to work with people during their time in hospital; I hope my treatments help give some normality, a sense of freedom and, despite clinical interventions, a feeling of being themselves again.”
