Gabby Bignell

Gabby joined Full Circle in 2013, she is Project Lead and light touch massage therapist for haematology and oncology at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

She also developed an interest in rehabilitative work in the clinical hospital environment. Gabby qualified as a sports & remedial massage therapist in 2010 from the London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Level 5 diploma.

Gabby aims to help her patients reduce muscular tension, and increase relaxation and general wellbeing through a combination of different massage strokes and techniques. Her treatments are adapted to meet the individual’s needs and focus on alleviating particular symptoms.  Gabby is also happy to guide her patients through any aspect of their massage treatment to help them understand and gain a better understanding of their body.

Outside of Full Circle, Gabby enjoys developing her knowledge of massage through continued professional development, and working as a massage therapist and co-ordinator at sporting events. She enjoys freediving, cycling, playing the flute and fine art illustration, and these interests feed in to her private practice where she sees a wide variety of people from many different backgrounds. She also has a private massage practice in Brighton.

Gabby says: “It is a privilege to work with people during their time in hospital. I hope my treatments help give some feeling of normality and, despite clinical interventions, restore a sense of connection and a feeling of being oneself again.
