SHS show to build on £65k fundraising

In Events by George Norton

The amazing students and staff at Surbiton High School (SHS) are set to build on their already astonishing fundraising efforts for Full Circle Fund Therapies as they prepare for their 2018 Fashion Show in early March.

Over the years, SHS have raised £65,000 to support the children and adults with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses whose care, wellbeing and quality of life benefit significantly from the work of the FCFT therapists. This year's theme is 'Surbiton Goes Symphonic' and FCFT are proud to once again be the main charity nominated by the school.

Full Circle philosophy

We feel a real kinship with SHS, and see the Full Circle philosophy reflected in the incredible breadth of experience and engagement across the community that the Fashion Show entails. As the school explains on its website:

"Very few events genuinely connect an entire community, let alone events that encapsulate so many crucial life skills: learning, challenge, adversity, success, creativity, delegation and leadership."

We are hugely impressed by the outstanding show the students put on each year, and hugely grateful for the amazing fundraising effort, which makes a significant difference to how many patients we can help.  Roll on 'Surbiton Goes Symphonic'!

The Surbiton High School Fashion Show is far more than just a fashion show. The legacy of this event sees the whole School draw on its strengths and community spirit to deliver a student-led, high quality event that allows every individual to thrive and flourishSurbiton High School
