Mindfulness is a gentle yet very effective practice of allowing oneself to become present in the moment. It offers an opportunity to be non judgemental, accepting and allowing towards what the present moment offers. It offers respite from the constant stress and anxiety provoking scenarios that the mind can create, by offering alternative and much more effective options of resting our attention. Not intentional, but a very welcome effect of staying mindful is a sense of peace and resilience that builds overtime to face life and its challenges.
