Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
It has long been our goal at Full Circle to bring our award-winning integrated therapy know-how to other hospitals, and this became a reality at the end of September 2018, when we launched a new pilot project at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, bringing clinical massage therapy for patients and their families across the hospital. Gabby Bignell, our highly experienced Clinical Massage Therapy lead from Full Circle’s groundbreaking services for life-limited children and adults at St George’s Hospital, will lead this exciting new project.
It is hoped that with vital support we will be able to develop a comprehensive hospital-wide service for the Royal, using the benefit of Full Circle’s 18 years of expertise at St George’s University Hospital.
Pioneering project developments
A central part of the Full Circle model is to develop – with medical and nursing teams – unique patient centred projects, that are driven primarily by the need of patients in order to support their resilience in the most complex medical environments as well as to enhance that individual’s quality of life.
